Susan P. DeCoursey (“Susie”) has nearly 20 years of legal experience. Susie’s practice has been primarily in the area of civil and commercial litigation.  Her primary focus areas have been in mechanic’s liens, creditor’s rights, foreclosure, contract disputes, and construction.  She regularly appears in Kansas and Missouri state and federal courts.  She represents the interest of individuals and business owners.  Advises small business owners on day to day issues and prepares contracts and other necessary business documentation. Susie is a determined, earnest and enthusiastic advocate on behalf of her client’s. She is a strong supporter of alternative dispute resolution when appropriate and has participated in numerous mediations through the years.

·Represents individuals, corporations, closely held companies, sole proprietors, homes associations, credit unions and banks.

·Litigated contract disputes, mechanic and homes association lien enforcement, foreclosures, title insurance claims, non-compete agreements, quiet title actions, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Billing Act, Kansas Consumer Protection Act, registration of foreign judgments, and arbitration awards.
